How to Update Plugins in Koha
If your library is using EDI plugins, do not update them to any versions starting with v4.0 until your Koha system
has been upgraded to 25.11. For libraries on 25.05, most EDI plugins
should be on v3.8.25. If you are on 25.05 and believe your EDI plugins
need to be updated, please submit a support ticket.
As Koha grows, plugins may need to be rewritten to accommodate changes in the code. If one of your plugins isn't working correctly, a good first step is to ensure that your Koha instance has the latest plugin version installed.
From the Koha home screen, navigate to plugins-home.pl by clicking on the Administration module and selecting Manage Plugins.
On the next screen, use the "Search for plugins" box to find the one in question. You can also filter your list of plugins down if needed.
Compare the version numbers to ensure you are using the latest version of the plugin. If not, click Install. Your configuration settings will be maintained as the plugin updates and background processes are refreshed.
When the update is complete, you'll see the version number has changed to the latest version.
