Installation - Libki Print Station

Libki Print Station is a Windows application designed to interact with Jamex coin-op machines, allowing patrons to pay for print jobs in cash without need for staff intervention.

On Libki Server, generate an API Key
  1. Login to <yourlibkiserver>/administration
  2. Navigate to Settings -> API Keys
  3. Create a new key
    1. Enter in a Note like “My Print Station”, or the specific branch library name if you’re multi-site
    2. Select Type = Print Station
  4. Hang onto this key, you’ll need it later
On the designated machine for Print Station (this should be a Windows PC physically connected to the Jamex device via USB)
  1. Download the latest version of Libki Print Station from https://github.com/Libki/libki-print-station/releases (currently r22.08)
  2. Run the Libki_Print_Station.exe
  3. Fill in the first screen of the wizard
    1. Your scheme is ‘https’
    2. Your host is <yourlibkiserver>
    3. Your Port is 443
  4. On the second screen, enter
    1. a name for this instance (anything you like)
    2. The API key from above
  5. Complete the installation
  6. Launch Print Station from the icon on the desktop
