Libki Installation - Print Manager

Libki Print Manager is a Windows application designed to sit inside your library’s network, where it can access both the remote Libki Server, and your physical printers. 

On Libki Server, generate an API Key
  1. Login to <yourlibkiserver>/administration
  2. Navigate to Settings -> API Keys
  3. Create a new key
    1. Enter in a Note like “My Print Manager”, or the specific branch library name if you’re multi-site
    2. Select Type = Print Manager
  4. Hang onto this key, you’ll need it later
On the designated machine for print management (this should be a Windows server or always-on staff machine)
  1. Download the latest version of Libki Print Manager from https://github.com/Libki/libki-print-manager/releases (currently r25.05)
  2. Run the Libki_Print_Manager.exe
  3. Fill in the first screen of the wizard
    1. Your scheme is ‘https’
    2. Your host is <yourlibkiserver>
    3. Your Port is 443
  4. On the second screen, enter
    1. a name for this instance (anything you like)
    2. The API key from above
  5. Complete the installation
  6. From C:\Program Files (x86)\LibkiPrintManager, run LibkiPrintManager.exe
